To create and maintain an enthusiastic and positive interest in all related band programs.
To encourage and cultivate positive participation in band activities by all students, parents and other individuals or groups interested in developing the quality of band programs.
To maintain dignified and supportive relationships between those who are interested in developing the quality of band programs and boosting school spirit.
To engage in fund raising activities to help meet the financial needs of the band programs.
Caleb Boone is a native of Chapel Hill, TN where he resides with his wife, Rachael. He is an alumnus of Forrest School and was a member the Rocket Band of Blue from 2005 until his graduation in 2012. He went on to study music education at Tennessee State University. During his time as a college student, he worked as a brass instructor for the Trousdale County High School Marching Yellow Jackets in 2014. He then worked under his former band director, Mr. Billy Bateman, as a brass instructor for the Forrest Rocket Band of Blue in 2015 and 2016. For his student teaching residency, Mr. Boone was mentored by Mr. Bateman at Forrest in the fall of 2016 before finishing in the spring at John Overton High School in Nashville, TN. Upon graduating from TSU in May of 2017, Mr. Boone accepted a position as the Music Teacher at Randoloh Howell Elementary School in Columbia, TN. He taught grades pre-kindergarten through fourth and is very proud of his time at RHES. In May of 2018, Mr. Boone accepted the position as Band Director of Forrest School. He is honored and excited to be a part of his alma mater and beloved Rocket Band of Blue.
